Year 2000
Rosenthal Collins Group LP has budgeted for and is conducting an exhaustive internal review of our systems and our ability to provide continued service to our clients and affiliates, and is actively involved in testing with major North American futures exchanges. To date, no material deficiencies have been detected.

Our Plan is to have all systems certifiable no later than March of 1999. In August of 1998 we upgraded our main computer system to a new model and release level that IBM has certified as 2000 compliant. Earlier this year we upgraded our General Ledger system, provided by Great Plains Dynamics, to its most recent and year 2000 compliant release. All individual departments’ systems have been reviewed and, where necessary, are being enhanced or replaced.

Our main back office and trading software provider, SunGard Futures Systems, has certified their most recent release as 2000 compliant. As the major provider of back office systems within the futures industry, SunGard is directly involved in year 2000 testing with all major futures exchanges.

We are being proactive in contacting and analyzing our vendors’ capabilities to provide continued support. Our Year 2000 Plan, which is headed by our Chief Information Officer reporting directly to our Chief Executive Officer, was finalized in February of 1997. All deadlines have been met or exceeded.
