To begin trading you must complete the futures and options account papers. We have compressed the forms so that you can download them quickly.  Please follow the instructions below:

Instructions for Opening An Account

  1. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat (or another program capable of viewing and printing Portable Document Files), click on the icon below. Use your browser's Save As menu selection to save the file to an apporpriate place on your hard drive. Acrobat will take up approximately 4 Mb of disk space.

    If you have Adobe Acrobat (or another program capable of viewing and printing Portable Document Files), proceed to Step 2.

    To minimize the download time for Acrobat, the program will be downloaded as a self-extracting file. After the download is complete, perform the following steps to activate Acrobat.

    1. Quit your Web browser.
    2. Using Windows Explorer (Win95) or File Manager (Win 3.1), double-click on ar32e30.exe (for Windows 95 version) or ar16e30.exe (for Windows 3.1 version).
    3. Follow the instructions on your screen.

    Note: If there is a failure at any point during the installation of Acrobat Reader 3.0, the installer performs a complete uninstall. For this reason, it is important not to close the installer application by clicking its close box in the upper right corner of the background window after clicking the "Thank You" dialog box that appears at the end of the installation. If you wait for a second or two, the installer will automatically close the background windows after the installation is complete.

  2. After you have installed Acrobat, you are ready to view and download the account booklet.

    Netscape Browsers:

    1. Choose the type of account you wish to open from the selections below.
    2. When you click on the selection for your account type, the forms will be displayed on the screen.
    3. Use your browser's Save As menu selection to save the file to your hard drive. Or, print the forms by clicking on the Printer icon on the Adobe toolbar which will appear above the displayed forms.

    Microsoft Internet Explorer (Version 3.0 or later):

    1. Choose the type of account you wish to open from the selections below.
    2. Using your right mouse button, click on the name of the form you wish to download.
    3. Select Save Target As... from the pop-up menu. The file will be downloaded to your hard drive.
    4. If you wish to print the form while you are on-line, click on the form name with your left mouse button. The form will be opened by Acrobat Reader and you may print directly from the screen.

SPECIAL NOTE:   If you plan to trade after hour markets or any of the electronic markets (Project A, Globex, NYMEX, etc.), please complete  that section included in your account papers download.
